Brdo Park

Charmingly arranged Brdo Park is a treasury of Carniolan aristocratic history. Take a walk through the park and admire rich flora and fauna, visit the Brdo Castle, former castle stables, and old orangery, admire valuable statuary collection, beehive with endings painted by the renowned Slovenian painters, observe rare in straw covered double hayracks …

You can visit Brdo Park at any time in the year*, alone or with our guide.

The entrance fee for individuals is paid at the doorkeeper or at the reception desk in hotel Kokra (2,50 € per person). The hotel guests and children up to 7 years of age are free of entrance fee.

We recommend you to visit the park in winter time with snow sleigh, or with carriage in the other seasons.

In the summer time on Sundays we organise 20-minute afternoon carriage rides through the park, or 45-minute rides through the entire Brdo estate.

These rides will again be organised in spring 2012.
